Weelkes, Thomas
(baptized 25 October 1576 – buried 1 December 1623, London)
   Composer, student of William Byrd, and organist at Chichester Cathedral from between October of 1601 and 1602 until 16 January 1617 when he was dismissed for drunkenness. He composed nine services, the most for a single major composer of his time, and completed more than 30 anthems.
